The Balance Live Edge Dining Table combines a character-rich Winnipeg elm top with a substantial all-wood base. Its 2"-thick tabletop is constructed from live-edge slabs, preserving the organic shape, distinctive grain and natural history of the tree.
Knots and cracks are carefully stabilized and filled with epoxy, creating a practical dining surface without concealing the characteristics that make the wood unique. A clear hardwax oil finish protects the table while maintaining the elm’s natural colour and expressive grain.
The matching Balance-style base features two solid elm slab legs joined by a long wood stretcher. Finished in the same clear hardwax oil as the tabletop, the base gives the table a grounded, architectural presence.
The table shown is an example of past work and is not available for purchase. We can make a similar table to order, but the live edges, grain, knots and slab characteristics cannot be duplicated exactly. Every new Balance Live Edge Dining Table will be entirely one of a kind.
