Kinzel Dining Table

The Kinzel Dining Table is a substantial solid black ash table that celebrates wide boards, visible construction and natural wood grain. Its 2½"-thick tabletop is divided by deliberate micro gaps, giving each individual board space to stand apart while creating a strong linear detail across the surface.

A recessed 1" × 1" steel frame reinforces the underside of the tabletop without interrupting its clean profile. Below, solid black ash slab legs are joined by a matching ash stretcher to form the architectural Balance-style base.

The softened edges make the table comfortable for everyday use, while a clear hardwax oil finish protects the surface and preserves the black ash’s natural colour, grain and variation.

The table shown is an example of past work and is not available for purchase. We can create a made-to-order version with the same overall construction and design, but variations in board width, grain, colour and natural characteristics mean it cannot be duplicated exactly. Every Kinzel table will be one of a kind.
